Exports from Kosovo went down 15.6 percent year-on-year to EUR 32.3 million in October 2019, dragged down by lower sales of base metals and articles thereof (-36.5 percent). In contrast, exports of plastics, rubber and articles thereof increased 9.4 percent. Among major trading partners, shipments fell to Albania (-14.5 percent) and Macedonia (-1.8 percent) while those rose to Italy (474.7 percent).

Kosovo Imports at 315126.00 EUR Thousand


Imports to Kosovo went up 2.0 percent year-on-year to EUR 315.1 million in October 2019, due to higher purchases of machinery, appliances and electric materials (16.3 percent) and prepared foodstuffs, beverages and tobacco (5.8 percent). On the other hand, imports dropped for mineral products (-5.5 percent). Imports advanced from Germany (24 percent) and Turkey (24.5 percent).
