Les attentes d'inflation sur 5 ans du Michigan aux États-Unis ont en moyenne été de 3,20 pour cent de 1979 à 2026, atteignant un niveau record de 9,70 pour cent en février 1980 et un niveau record de 2,20 pour cent en décembre 2019.

États-Unis Michigan Prévisions d'inflation à 5 ans
L'Indice des attentes des consommateurs se concentre sur trois domaines : comment les consommateurs perçoivent les perspectives de leur propre situation financière, comment ils perçoivent les perspectives de l'économie générale à court terme et leur perception des perspectives économiques à long terme. Chaque enquête mensuelle contient environ 50 questions principales, chacune suivant un aspect différent des attitudes et des attentes des consommateurs. Les échantillons des enquêtes auprès des consommateurs sont conçus de manière statistique pour être représentatifs de tous les ménages américains, à l'exception de ceux de l'Alaska et d'Hawaï. Chaque mois, un minimum de 500 interviews sont réalisées par téléphone.
